The Data Futures Partnership is an independent group appointed and funded by the Government. We are working with all New Zealanders to create the right systems, settings and conditions to allow New Zealander’s data to be put to work, maximising its benefits and making New Zealand a better place. Our overarching objective is to:
Create a competitive advantage by positioning New Zealand as a high-value, strongly inclusive, high-trust, and high-control data-sharing ecosystem.
The Guidelines are part of our wider work programme to maximise the benefits of data for the public, companies, government agencies, and non-governmental organisations.
